Kit includes switch, cable, 12VDC AGM battery and side mount case.

Its required by law to have a trailer breakaway switch kit with electric brakes. The trailer breakaway switch will engage the brakes if the trailer detaches from your tow vehicle while travelling. Trailer breakaway switch kits are a safety feature. Each kit contains a 12VDC AGM battery that provides power to the brakes in emergencies. Includes an LED indicator, ensuring your battery is charging while in tow. Charging your breakaway battery ensures the required voltage to power the brakes in case of an emergency. Easy to install, and everything you need.

The battery box case included is a side mount. Secure to the trailer frame with 4 screws.
